Monthly Potluck

The Flat Creek Community Center is holding its upcoming monthly 1st-Saturday potluck on May the 2nd from 6:00-8:00. The meal will be prayed over at 6:00, and live music will follow afterwards, starting around 7:00.

This month we will be welcoming fiddle-guitar duo Jim Holland and Jaime Ferguson of Athens, Ala. to play for us. They have been featured locally at Tate Farms, Channel 48’s Tennessee Valley Living, and the Electric Belle and are regulars at regional and national festivals where they share collected tunes from places like North Alabama, Northern Ireland, and Canada. They also enjoy playing for contras and ceilidhs, weddings and wakes, BBQs and “bark” mitzvahs.

Everyone is welcome to come out to the community center for the evening of May the 2nd. Please bring a dish or dessert and bring your family out for a good food, fellowship, and music.
