Walmart Store 0656, which initially opened in 2003, celebrated its grand reopening on the morning of April 24 to highlight the new renovations to the building including the Pickup Center and renovated interior.

Store Manager Travis Jean, who has managed the store for over two years, expressed his enthusiasm about Walmart’s place in the City of Shelbyville.

“Shelbyville has been very good to Walmart and we want to continue to be involved with and support the community,” said Jean.

The store additionally made two $2,000 donations to Thomas Magnet School and A Soldier’s Child Foundation.

The Cascade High School Marching Band was also present during the event.
