Wickey Parker delivered when it mattered most. Parker crushed a go-ahead three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning, lifting Cascade to a 6-4 comeback win over Richland on Thursday.
Trailing 4-3 entering the final frame, Cascade flipped the game in dramatic fashion as Parker’s blast to right capped a four-RBI night. He also drove in a run earlier with an RBI single in the first.
Cascade struck first with two runs in the opening inning on Parker’s RBI knock and a Thomas Demartelaere sacrifice bunt, then added another in the third on a solo homer from Jayden Hathcock.

On the mound, Jayce Cagle earned the win in relief, allowing one run over three innings while striking out four.
Jordan Childress closed the door for the save. Brody Greene got the start, with Caleb Crouch also contributing in relief. Parker and Crouch led Cascade with two hits apiece.
