With the postseason approaching, the Community Viqueens are hitting their stride at the right time. Coming off of a 5-0 weekend that resulted in the Griffin Classic Tournament Championship, Community played one final regular season district game before starting the District 9-AA tournament.

Community – 11, Loretto – 0

Behind a dominant outing from Annie Prince and a deep, consistent effort at the plate, Community rolled past Loretto 11-0 on Monday, sharpening every phase of its game ahead of district tournament play.

Community wasted little time taking control, plating four runs in the first inning to set the tone. The Viqueens added three more in the third before closing out the run-rule victory with a four-run fourth, finishing with 11 runs on 15 hits.

The offense produced up and down the lineup. Anna Haskins led the charge from the leadoff spot, going 3-for-3 and setting the tone early. Kamryn Farrell added two hits and an RBI, while Gracie Daniel contributed two hits and scored twice. Kailani Allen drove in two runs on a two-hit night, and Mattie Maxey added a hit, an RBI, and reached base twice. Haylee Webb turned in a two-hit performance with an RBI, while Prince helped her own cause with two hits, including a home run, and two RBIs.

Community (25-7, 7-0) returns to action Monday, hosting Forrest in the opening round of the District 9-AA Tournament. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m.
